Our friend Matt Webb's Viconian story (a commodius vicus of recirculation) cuts orthogonally through weblogs, traversing the unstable lattice (see Armand on traversal and Notes) of the comment infrastructure, and loops back on itself. You could add to it by writing upstream, like this. And if a comment is on your website you could break the loop to leave only a fadograph of a yestern scene. A new tranche, a delicate braid.
It's good to see someone write a hypertext that's worth reading, worth traveling from site to site for, worthy of the Viconian...
my favorite is that it's pulled off in the comment sections of people's blogs. are these willing or unwilling participants? my first thought is that they know what's going on, so that they don't delete these seemingly-random links, but how sublime would it be to write a series of these episodes to create a comment(ary) hypertext novel?
