The duck-rabbit and rabbit-duck were responses to discussion of the Jastrow duck-rabbit figure by both Gombrich and Wittgenstein, and the question of whether it was truly a 'binary' image or not. Wittgenstein suggests there's a little more going on than simply flipping between seeing one aspect or the other.
Photoshop on Mac was used to clean up images of a duck and a rabbit, after which the beak and ears were transposed.
