- Fri 6 Feb, TM: Emma Kay, who re-renders maps and texts from memory, and is now interested in perception, storage and access to knowledge. Reminds us we should read our Plato and Socrates on memory and writing, and Leibniz.
- Wed 11 Feb, TB: A talk about Public Art, with Bob and Roberta Smith, Carey Young ("corporate" artist), Keith Wilson, Heidi Reitmaier.
- Fri 27 Feb, TB: Sickert's Detection and Identity in the Camden Town murder series. Perhaps for Sickert, Jack the Ripper and Patricia Cornwell fans.
- Fri 5 Mar, TM: Manuel De Landa (war in age of intell machines, 1000yrs of non-linear history) talk on art and science as part of the Nature Space Society series. The other speakers are N Katherine Hayles (Fri 12 Mar) and Bruno Latour (Fri 19 Mar), and all three are also with Olafur "yellow sun in Tate/weather project" Eliasson and Doreen Massey (prof of geography, Open U).
