Light is very good and unnerving psychological SF about (un)reality, death, sex, distance, piracy, vision, embodiment. The Shrander is unheimlich. The small number of highlights is in no way an indicator of a lack of quality - I'm annoyed that I didn't read this ten years ago. Harrison's blog.
