- One of the gerbils is frequently renamed. He was Thollo, then Chelky, then Dusky, then Strawberry and now Sunflower, and we are to refer to him as her. I secretly call them Keith and they probably calls themself Sharptooth The Brave. The other gerbil is still called Smudge. This consistency/flexibility of naming reflect their owners quite well.
- I have done six weeks of ceramic mould making. It was good. If anyone needs a vase that is the shape of a bag of rice from Lidl, well you let me know.
- Some direct mail from a "wealth solutions" co: "Try this maths exercise... Decide the age you want to retire, then deduct the age you are now and then multiply it by 12. E.G.: 65-48=17, 17x12=204. The number you arrive at is the amount of pay days you have left to make the money you need to retire with! The next number you need is [their phone number]" - nice to see some copy that is punchy and flabby at the same time. (If you are way behind track on your retirement planning, I'm not sure it will make you pick up the phone. If you are way ahead, likewise?)
